28th January - Happy Birthday, Gee

Salam to all my friends.

To all my dearest collegues and staffs, thank you so much for setting up a surprise and simple treat during lunch this afternoon. Why 28th? Actually, its my birthday and thats why they took the trouble to do something for me.

But what does that mean to you, Gee? Its my second year celebrating it without my late beloved hubby. Only Allah SWT knows how I feel. May he rest in peace and Al-Fatihah. I know I need to be strong and go on with my life but to experience most things being the first ever since without him around, can make me down. Actually, he had taught me the courage, given me the strength, left us with the love and memories that make us even more stronger than I thought. Thank you so much dear. You and those memories will always be in my heart.

Another Joy

Happy Monday to all my dear friends.

I'm going to make my posting today short and precise. I have something 'precious' to share with you girls. Atie, one of my staffs entered my room this morning with a very special smile on her face. Its true enough. She is holding a paper bag that contains a tureen.

Lets enjoy it. I dont mind there's a crack and chip. As you can see, the flowers are so beautiful. Luv it very much.

Another joy for me today that will make me smile till end of the week. Thanks so much Atie for continuing supporting my hobbies and passion for vintagey dishes.

Today I have something to share with you. Those little things that light up my life and made my day. Sometimes, its the little things in life that make us happy. What little things make you happy? As for me this is it. I have waited 3 months for her to arrive and at last, here she is....................

..............my aladdin wet roses teapot. The lid is not the original one. I used my other aladdin teapot's lid.

The 2 dessert plates were the earliest came to my home.

I bought them at a flea market many months ago.

3 saucers came in later. Actually, I have 6 of them and a platter too.

and now they are in "My Little Persona" home sweet home.

Wish I could get a few pieces of teacups and of course a sugar bowl plus a creamer.

My, where are the rest of the saucers? Will share them later ones I manage to get a few teacups to match with.

(Entah bila lah tu....I guess I need to borrow them from Fitty, hehehe......)

Hati yang selalu bahagia akan membunuh virus penderitaan, demikian juga jiwa yang pasrah kepada takdir Allah SWT akan menghancurkan bakteria kebencian.

This is the first week of year 2010. It has been more than 2 months since I last joined in Show n Tell Friday and Pink Saturday. A big thank you to Cindy at My Romantic Home and Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for continously hosting these two weekly memes.

As for today, I am sharing with you my friends another variety of roses dishes collection which we called as 'Wild Roses" and as usual it is pink in colour. I can say that this pattern has quite a variety. As you can see, some has 4/5 roses and some with just 2/3 roses only. What makes me happy is to have a small tureen with this design in my collection. Tureen is something hard to get hold of. Im just lucky to get it but as you can see, there is a minor crack.

At the moment, i have 2 teapots, a pair of teacup, 2 platters, 2 sides plates, 2 dinner plates, 6 bowls and of course one lovely tureen to match with. Okay, lets enjoy it and happy viewing.

This is my office

Today Im back to work after the long 'absence'. My, I was away from the office for 2 months. But I still feel, its not enough. Just wish I could stay longer at home. To be honest, actually I miss my room, my colleagues, my boss and my subordinates.
